Due to unforeseen permitting challenges and expected extreme heat, we made the decision to move this year's Dash 4 Dignity 5K to a virtual format. This allows us to prioritize the safety of our participants while continuing to raise support for City of Refuge Baltimore's Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative.
-
We encourage participants to complete their 5K on Saturday, July 18, 2026. If that day doesn't work for you, you're welcome to complete your run or walk anytime that weekend.
-
Anywhere! Walk or run in your neighborhood, at your favorite park, on a local trail, at the gym on a treadmill, or anywhere you feel comfortable.
-
Yes! Participants who complete the virtual Dash will receive a City of Refuge Dash T-shirt and available event items. We'll email registered participants with details about mailing or local delivery.
-
No action is needed. Your registration has automatically been transferred to the virtual event. We'll send additional information regarding participation and T-shirt distribution.

If you're unable to participate, you may request a refund of your registration fee (less applicable processing fees charged by our payment provider). You may also choose to donate your registration to support City of Refuge Baltimore's Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative. An email has been sent to all registered participants with complete details about these options and the deadlines for making your selection. If you did not receive the email, please contact us at info@cityofrefugebaltimore.org
